Trisha Yearwood Signs with Virgin Music Group, Announces New Album ‘The Mirror’

Country music icon Trisha Yearwood has embarked on a new chapter in her illustrious career by signing with Virgin Music Group. This partnership, in collaboration with her own label, Gwendolyn Records, also marks her return to Universal Music Group’s MCA Nashville, where she previously released music from 1990 to 2006.

Yearwood’s upcoming album, The Mirror, set for release on July 18, is her first project where she has taken on both co-writing and co-producing roles. The album promises a deeply personal touch, reflecting her growth as an artist. Fans can look forward to two preview tracks, “The Wall or the Way Over” and “Bringing the Angels,” which are set to drop on May 2.

“I’m honored to join forces with Virgin Music Group as I embark on this exciting new chapter,” Yearwood shared. “Bringing my Gwendolyn label into the MCA/Universal family truly feels like coming home. I can’t wait to share my new album, The Mirror. Creating this music has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.”

In addition to the album release, Yearwood has announced her first headlining tour in six years, which began on April 30 in Austin, Texas. The tour will support the new album and offer fans a chance to experience her latest work live.
