AC/DC Announce First Australian Tour Since 2015
Rock Legends Return Home With Thunderous New Tour
AC/DC is heading back Down Under! The iconic Aussie rock band has officially announced their first Australian tour in nearly a decade — and fans are already buzzing with excitement.
Titled the Power Up Tour, the upcoming run will kick off in Brisbane this November and hit major cities including Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth. This marks the band’s first time touring their home country since 2015, when they wrapped up the Rock or Bust world tour.
“We’re coming home,” AC/DC said in a statement. “It’s been far too long, and we can’t wait to bring the thunder back to our Aussie fans.”
The tour comes in support of their 2020 album Power Up, a tribute to the late Malcolm Young and a powerful reminder that the band’s high-voltage sound is as electrifying as ever. Lead guitarist Angus Young, frontman Brian Johnson, bassist Cliff Williams, drummer Matt Laug, and rhythm guitarist Stevie Young are all confirmed for the lineup.
Tickets go on sale next week, and demand is expected to be massive. Rock fans, get ready — AC/DC is bringing the noise home again.
