Why Livestreams?

Drake says he studied different styles of live content, and what drew him to in real life (IRL) streams was their “unpredictable energy and movement.” He felt that traditional “bedroom-cam” livestreams lacked that dynamism.

To really push the boundary, his team asked big, ambitious questions: How many cameras can we livestream with at once? A drone feed live? That ambition paid off — they didn’t just want to stream songs, but to build a story.

What Happened in the Streams

• Episode 1 was broadcast from a Toronto ice-warehouse. Viewers saw Drake measuring blocks of ice, then driving an Iceman-branded truck through the city, all while snippets of the song What Did I Miss? played.

• Episode 2 took place in Manchester and gave a first look (and listen) to Which One, his collaboration with British rapper Central Cee.

• Episode 3, filmed in Milan, previewed Dog House (featuring YEAT and Julia Wolf) as well as a remix of Somebody Loves Me.
