Ellie Goulding to Headline ‘Right Here, Right Now’ Global Climate Concert in Oxford

Pop icon and climate justice advocate Ellie Goulding is set to headline the ‘Right Here, Right Now’ Global Climate Concert on June 6, 2025, at the New Theatre Oxford. This significant event, co-hosted by United Nations Human Rights and the University of Oxford, aims to spotlight the escalating human rights implications of the climate crisis.

The concert is a central feature of the ‘Right Here, Right Now’ Global Climate Summit, the largest climate justice summit of its kind, running from June 4 to 7, 2025. Goulding, a UN Global Environmental Ambassador, has consistently used her platform to advocate for climate action. In 2022, she urged policymakers at COP27 to “be brave” and fulfill their promises, emphasizing the need for tangible action over empty commitments.

David Clark, Founder and CEO of the Right Here, Right Now Global Climate Alliance, expressed immense gratitude for Goulding’s involvement. “When an artist of Ellie’s stature uses her platform to champion climate justice, the world pays attention,” he remarked, acknowledging her significant role in spotlighting the human rights dimensions of climate change.

The Right Here, Right Now Global Climate Alliance, launched at COP26, unites human rights experts, scientists, NGOs, and advocates in a collective fight for climate justice. Proceeds from the concert will benefit UN Human Rights climate justice initiatives and establish a dedicated climate fund at MusiCares®, a leading music charity supporting music professionals in need.
