Pop star Madison Beer is being candid: she’s grown tired of performing some of her earlier material. In recent interviews, she’s reflected on her artistic journey — and how her relationship with her past music has changed.

From Pop Princess to Artistic Control

Madison says that when she started her career, she didn’t have much choice in the songs she released. In a conversation with the London Evening Standard, she admitted:

“I’m not a fan of those songs now … They kind of just gave me them and said, ‘These are yours …’ I was really young … I felt trapped for a long time.”
