Legendary British singer Rod Stewart (80) has been forced to cancel his second Las Vegas performance in a week due to ongoing health issues.

The show, scheduled for Thursday, June 5 at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, was called off on doctor’s advice as Stewart continues to recover from the flu.

Earlier this week, on Monday, June 2, another performance at the same venue was canceled at the last minute. That show has since been rescheduled for June 10, and original tickets will remain valid. However, no new date has yet been announced for the June 5 concert.

Stewart shared the update with fans via Instagram, stating:

“I’m so sorry to let you know that I have to cancel my show on June 5th at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. My doctor has advised me to rest a little longer while I recover from the flu. Thank you all for your love and understanding.”

Fans responded with an outpouring of support and well-wishes, though some expressed disappointment due to disrupted travel plans and accommodations.

Despite this temporary setback, Stewart remains determined to continue his “One Last Time” world tour. Later this month, he is scheduled to perform in the iconic “Legends Slot” at the Glastonbury Festival in the UK—his first return to the event since headlining in 2002.

While this is expected to be Stewart’s final major global tour, he has clarified that he is not retiring. He plans to focus on more intimate performances in the future, possibly exploring jazz and swing themes, such as a “Great American Songbook” or a “Swing Fever” tour in 2026.
