According to Ed, the proposal happened in a charming garden at the Kelce family home in Lee’s Summit, Missouri—just before heading out to dinner. Travis suggested, “Let’s go out and have a glass of wine…,” then got down on one knee. As Ed described it: “It was beautiful.”

Sharing the Joy

Immediately after Taylor said “yes,” the couple FaceTimed both families to share the joyous news. Ed recalled receiving the call during a Philadelphia Eagles open practice. “As soon as I saw the FaceTime, I saw it was Travis, then Taylor… I knew what they were going to say,” he said.
