Let me introduce myself, my name is Johan de Graaf and I am married to Manon and we have a daughter Joyce.
The radio had been of interest since I was young, getting the printed copy of the Top 40 every week and of course buying the best singles that you had earned with your job at the time. Because I had more and more records in my possession, I thought it would be fun to buy a mixing console and also make and record programs on a cassette tape.
I did that for a number of years and these were also broadcast on the Fm pirates at the time.
That was also a great time and when that stopped I did nothing with the radio for a while and I listened a lot to Radio Mi-Amigo and Caroline and Monique.
With the rise of the internet stations, interest in the radio also returned and my wife said that it might be fun to do this again, and that’s how the radio virus got me again
