Zara Larsson wants cheaper ticket options after Bangkok backlash

Zara Larsson is taking fan criticism over concert ticket prices seriously — and says she wants to make her future shows more accessible.

The Swedish pop star has acknowledged that tickets for her upcoming Midnight Sun Tour concert in Bangkok are expensive. Larsson performs at UOB LIVE in Bangkok on November 1, 2026. Official prices range from 2,800 to 3,900 Thai baht, with VIP tickets at 9,000 baht.

“I agree, the tickets are very expensive”

In a TikTok video, Larsson agreed with fans who described the prices as too high. She said she wished there had been a cheaper entry-level ticket so more people could attend.

Larsson also said concerts should not become an exclusive luxury and that she wants greater involvement in ticket pricing on future tours.

Touring isn’t necessarily big business

Larsson also addressed suggestions that she is personally making large profits from expensive tickets. She says touring currently isn’t a major money-maker for her, with much of the revenue going toward production, transportation, staff and other touring costs.
