KATSEYE Postpone Detroit Concert at the Last Minute Due to Illness

Fans were left disappointed after the pop group announced a sudden postponement just 30 minutes before showtime.

KATSEYE have been forced to postpone their Detroit concert at the last minute after group member Megan Skiendiel fell ill.

The girl group were scheduled to perform at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit on Tuesday, November 3, as part of their Wildworld Tour. However, fans were informed that the show would not go ahead just around 30 minutes before the scheduled start.

In a statement shared on Instagram Stories, the group confirmed that Megan was feeling unwell and unable to perform.

“We want to make sure she has the time she needs to rest and recover,” the group explained.

KATSEYE also apologised to fans who had travelled long distances and made arrangements to attend the concert.

“We know so many of you have traveled, made plans, and been looking forward to tonight. We are incredibly disappointed that we won’t get to see you, and we’re truly sorry for the inconvenience,” the statement continued.

The postponement understandably caused frustration among concertgoers, with many fans already inside the arena when the announcement appeared on the venue’s screens.

New concert date still unknown

Little Caesars Arena and its promoter, 313 Presents, have confirmed that the Detroit performance has been postponed. Fans are being advised to hold on to their tickets, which will remain valid for the rescheduled date once it is announced.

No replacement date has been confirmed so far.

The setback comes during KATSEYE’s Wildworld Tour, which has seen the group performing across North America. The group has also faced lineup changes, with members Sophia Laforteza and Manon Bannerman currently taking breaks from group activities.

For now, fans will be hoping Megan makes a speedy recovery and that the group can return to the stage soon.
